HISTORIC TENNIS VENUE WHITE CITY - welcome news for Woollahra recreational facilities for young people
The first phase of the White City development is about to start. the Executive Assistant to the Board of the Hakoah Club informed one of our members of the huge range of facilities, including educative programmes that they have planned for the White City site. He said that they are actively wanting to encourage youth membership and that the annual subscription would be more than reasonable and they welcome gentile membership.
They have considered a skateboard park as one of their facilities but decided against it, due to reasons of noise to surrounding residents.
The Rod Laver historic grandstand will be preserved with heritage credits”.
