ROAD RESURFACING FOR NEW SOUTH HEAD ROAD

Member for Vaucluse Gabrielle Upton MP today announced that the NSW Government is upgrading a crucial section of New South Head Road to create a smoother and safer drive for residents.

Ms Upton said the works would include replacing rough asphalt on key parts of New South Head Road between Wunulla Road, Point Piper and Dover Road, Rose Bay.

"Transport for NSW will be replacing sections of asphalt on the road to repair the surface and fill potholes," Ms Upton said.

Work will be carried out between Sunday, 19 June and Thursday, 7 July between 8pm and 5am, to minimise traffic disruption and reduce safety risks for workers and motorists.

There will be some temporary traffic changes to make sure the work zone is safe including temporary lane closures and reduced speed limits. Motorists are advised to follow the guidance from signage and designated traffic controllers.
