The replacement of the old seawall at the Heritage-Listed Nielsen Park, Vaucluse will begin from 1 March 2022.
As part of the works, Shark Beach will be closed from March to December 2022, during which time swimmers can use other harbour spots such as Milk Beach, Parsley Bay, Camp Cove Beach, Watsons Bay Beach and Murray Rose Pool (Redleaf Pool). More information is here
Visitors and the community will be kept informed by NPWS of closures and access to Nielsen Park and Shark Bay through the project website here.
